This is a wide vase. The vase is 3.5 " tall, 5 3/4" top wide, and 3.5" base wide. The body of the vase is wide, and the top is folded out even wider. The outside consists of sandy rough clear glaze with imprinted blue stripes, and the inside filled with a smooth baby blue. The glazes used were clear and baby blue. Something I did different was me getting on the wheel and making whatever my hands created, no thought or idea on what I wanted to create. The use of colors that are subtle and/or attracting goes with the odd shape of the project. The smooth blue surrounded by the rough clear makes me want to fill it with water dirt and life. (Plants)

This is my "Set of Three". I've made a bowl (2" tall, 6 1/2" topside, and 3 3/4" for the base), a small cylinder (4" tall, 2 3/4" wide top and base), and a plate (3/4" tall, and 7" wide). All with the glazes blue, green, and clear. Each all are similar due to the added colored lines but different due to shape and size. One new thing I did was combine designs on my project with glazing to give the lines a more visible appearance. To me I feel with the similarity, the lines, and differences gives each art piece the same comforted feeling or idea of the use of these projects.
